We actually provide the ACTUAL assay with your check for your specific "batch" of scrap, thus providing
the highest possible return on your scrap gold.
No weigh and
pay guessing. Just the facts, as they say. Minimum batch is 3 oz.
We do think it is important to try to dispel the the different ways in
which other websites are explaining away your return and/or their
technique in doing business.
Be a wise consumer:
Some sites claim if you are unhappy about the valuation you can return
your check and get your scrap back, how is possible if the metal
have been refined and accurately been assayed? It is
impossible to "guess" at a varied mixture of gold crowns and scrap and
calculate actual weight and value!
Many other sites show a chart of real time gold market index.
Why? They also have a chart of what
they're paying. This is often broken down into karat classes. Do some
math, and find the % of pay-out vrs market price, you will be shocked
to learn the tiny fraction of your pay out. The weight and pay scam is
even worse. Buyer Beware.
If your
a dentist, and you are still letting those weigh and pay salespeople
take your scrap away, stop!
If you learn anything from us, we hope that it is this.
It's expensive to run
assays. Assays are the only way to know what is in your scrap shipment.
When you send your scrap to a real refiner, they melt down your lot
into a solid chunk. After that has been done, they take a core sample
and test this a couple different ways. This must to be done, the assay
is critical to realizing your true value.
This brings us to the 24 hr guarantee. If they are truly refining, how
can they send you the scrap back if your not happy with the check?
Only
through refining can you discover whether your are being paid for 9kt
or 24kt. Anyone
can easily lower the karat level to alter the payout. No matter who you
send your scrap to make sure that an assay is done.
